Welcome to Rovio Travels. By accessing our website, making inquiries, booking travel services, or using any services provided by Rovio Travels ("Company", "We", "Our", "Us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website and services.

Services & Bookings

General policies regarding the scope of our services, booking procedures, and payment terms.

1. Services Offered

Rovio Travels provides travel-related services including but not limited to:

  • Domestic & International Tour Packages
  • Flight Bookings
  • Hotel Reservations
  • Transport & Vehicle Rentals
  • Group Tours
  • Corporate Travel Services
  • Visa Assistance
  • Travel Insurance Assistance
  • Customized Holiday Packages
  • B2B Travel Solutions

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from the respective suppliers.

2. Booking Policy

  • All bookings are confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
  • Rates are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
  • Prices may change without prior notice due to:
    • Airline fare revisions
    • Hotel rate changes
    • Government taxes
    • Fuel surcharges
    • Currency fluctuations
  • Any verbal communication shall not be considered a confirmed booking.

3. Payment Terms

  • Booking confirmation requires advance payment as communicated by Rovio Travels.
  • Full payment must be completed before the commencement of travel.
  • Failure to make payments within the specified timeline may result in automatic cancellation.
  • All transaction charges, bank charges, and gateway fees shall be borne by the customer unless otherwise stated.

Cancellations & Refunds

Rules governing booking cancellations, retention charges, and refund processing protocols.

4. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges will apply from the date written cancellation is received.

Flight & Hotel Bookings

Respective airline and hotel cancellation policies will apply directly.

Tour Packages

  • More than 30 Days Before: 25% Cancellation Charge
  • 15 – 30 Days Before: 50% Cancellation Charge
  • 07 – 14 Days Before: 75% Cancellation Charge
  • Less Than 07 Days: 100% Cancellation Charge

Non-refundable bookings shall not be eligible for any refund.

5. Refund Policy

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after receiving refunds from airlines, hotels, transport operators, or other suppliers.
  • Processing time may vary between 15–45 working days.
  • Service fees, visa fees, convenience fees, GST, TCS, and processing charges are non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise.
  • Refund timelines depend upon banking channels and supplier processing.

Travel Requirements

Customer responsibilities regarding documentation, insurance, and conduct during the journey.

6. Visa & Documentation

  • Customers are solely responsible for providing correct documentation.
  • Rovio Travels acts only as a facilitator and does not guarantee visa approval.
  • Visa fees once submitted are non-refundable.
  • Any losses due to visa rejection, incomplete documents, or delayed submission shall not be the responsibility of Rovio Travels.

7. Passport Requirements

  • Passports must have the required validity as per destination country regulations.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring passport accuracy and validity.
  • Any losses arising from incorrect passport information shall be borne by the traveler.

8. Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers. Rovio Travels shall not be responsible for losses arising due to:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Flight delays
  • Baggage loss
  • Trip cancellations
  • Accidents
  • Natural disasters

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree:

  • To provide accurate personal information.
  • To comply with local laws and regulations.
  • To carry valid identification and travel documents.
  • To arrive on time for flights, transfers, and tours.
  • To maintain proper conduct during travel.

Any damage caused by a traveler to hotel property, transport vehicles, or public property shall be the traveler's responsibility.

Operations & Liabilities

Details regarding transport protocols, third-party supplier liabilities, and force majeure clauses.

10. Transport Services

  • Vehicle allocation shall be as per package inclusions.
  • Additional sightseeing, waiting charges, parking charges, toll taxes, permits, or driver allowances not included in the package shall be charged extra.
  • Vehicle usage beyond the agreed itinerary may attract additional charges.
  • Rovio Travels shall not be liable for traffic delays, road closures, weather conditions, or transport disruptions.

11. Supplier Liability

Hotels, airlines, transport operators, cruise operators, and other service providers are independent entities. Rovio Travels acts only as an intermediary and shall not be liable for:

  • Delays
  • Service deficiencies
  • Overbooking
  • Cancellations
  • Supplier insolvency
  • Accidents or losses caused by suppliers

12. Force Majeure

Rovio Travels shall not be responsible for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Earthquakes
  • Pandemics
  • Government restrictions
  • War
  • Terrorism
  • Strikes
  • Political unrest
  • Weather disruptions

No compensation shall be payable in such situations.

16. Limitation of Liability

The maximum liability of Rovio Travels under any circumstances shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the concerned booking.

Rovio Travels shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

Digital Presence & Legal

Website usage rules, intellectual property rights, jurisdictional governance, and contact information.

13. Website Usage

Users agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes.
  • Upload malicious software.
  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission.
  • Interfere with website operations.

Rovio Travels reserves the right to restrict access for misuse.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website including Logo, Designs, Images, Text, Packages, and Marketing Materials are the property of Rovio Travels and may not be reproduced without written consent.

17. Amendments

Rovio Travels reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated versions shall be posted on the website.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Noida / Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, India.
